Come take a first hand look at one of the newest core DotNetNuke^® modules on the block, Map! Kevin Shreiner is the DotNetNuke project lead of the Map module all will be demonstrating its full capilities and functions.

 

Open Web Studio (formerly Nukedk.ListX) has officially moved into internal testing.  a select group of existing ListX customers have signed up for the BETA phase.  Open Web Studio is a major upgrade to ListX and will be offered as an open source project with three subscription levels.  to read more go to the support forum topic. 

The DNN^® Map project has moved one step closer to official release to the general DNN^® community by moving into the release tracker for complete testing.  DNN^® Map is a complete re-write of our popular goMap module.  Check out the current status on the DNN^® projects page. 

Laurate (Laureate.com and WaldenU.edu) selects R2i to design and build micro landing sites and company widgets using .net technologies, Open Web Studio and DNN^®. 

Propane Council (PropaneCouncil.org), a national non-profit in Washington, DC. has selected R2i after an extensive analysis phase to build a national commerce store for electroinc media and other products.

 

R2integrated has been selected by HCR Manor Care (HCRManorCare.com) to skin and build a public web site for its national set of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. 

R2i (formerly Bi4ce) co-founder and CTO Chris Chodnicki, was featured in a recent Linux.com article focusing on Open Source Platforms and service providers. 

Article excerpt: "Chodnicki believed early on that R2i could somehow sustain a business with the interest created by the community surrounding DNN^®. Like most open source projects, it had a lot of potential to be a money-saving solution, but uptake was lower than it could have been because of potential clients' perception of lack of support. A solid company behind the project was the missing ingredient, Chodnicki thought.

Bi4ce, an R2integrated company,  has contributed a re-engineered goMap product to the DNN^® projects.  Introduced as DNN:Map, the new product will have everything goMap has but much more.  Kevin Schreiner, the project lead, has introduced many new features including a new administrative interface, portable to other products (ie. Bi4ce, an R2integrated company, will participate at this year's Open Force conference in Las Vegas between November 5-8.  Put a face to our name by introducing yourself to some of the internal team member.  We will have a large booth at #428.  We will also be demonstrating a beta version of the next version of NukeDK codenamed 'Bock'. 

NukeDk 1.98 includes the following useful features:

1. Quick Builder - A template driven interface that allows you to specify the name and key of your table (for the purpose of generating the INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE statements - as well as a query box to enter your query). Once entered - you can automatically turn the current ListX into a Data Grid, Detail, Edit Form with the click of a button.

2. Event Logging - Due to popular demand, and the need for a more productive debugging environment - we have added actions for Logging - so you can log whatever you want - whenever you want. Also - we have turned on automated Trace logging for your configurations. So you can log all interaction - or only interaction which causes a SQL error. And most important - we aren't using the DNN Event Logs. Instead, there is a new table specifically for ListX which is accessible per module on the Action Menu under Log.

3. Repository - the ListX repository has been embedded within the Admin environment - so now you can view the repository for the current module at any time by clicking on the Repository action menu item. The layout has changed and been extended to allow you to label your versions for the sake of keeping track of which configurations are 'Production Worthy'.

4. COALESCE - a brand new tag supplied within your ListX configurations. This tag allows you to pick from multiple values, returning the first value which is not empty. And - it lets you apply an unlimited number of formatters.

*This release is a free upgrade for current licensed users.
