Hi,
I am new to the forum and am well on my way to developing my first use of the nukedk product. My plan is once I have my core object created and working to try to integrate with a payment seamless gateway that you never actually leave the web portal like Paypal pro or Authorize.net. My questiong is, am I dreaming and this is not possible or is there some way someone could point me in the right direction so I can get my plan for this portion completed.

Do me a favor and post this on our Listx forum. I will have one of my engineers review this and reply as I think the general DNN Listx community would be interested and/or may have input. Thanks.
Best Regards,
Chris Chodnicki

Chris Thanks...
This is the information I needed...
Basically I am storing all of he necessary data to pass it off to my merchant processor. They provide several methods of integrating generic html/asp/asp.net/java into your web page. Could you give me some guidance as to how listen for the return response using listx? Also, paypal provides a new product in which the user never sees the paypal site and we are using this for the time being. It would be nice to see a very basic example to get started....
Kind Regards,
Ray Bell

No problem.
We have used listx ourselves for client projects that have a commerce piece. Typically we use listx to collect contact / product info but ‘hand-off’ this to PayPal or merchant and do not control the actual payment piece.
We have done one ebay like thing where we have the user’s paypal ID saved and use this for interaction – but again the payment piece is managed on the payPal site.
Best Regards,
Chris Chodnicki

Hi Chris,
so I would have to hand off the transaction to the Catalook store (I have this) or use the Catalook store outright? is there any plans to have, if needed, a way for users to integrate payment transactions?
sorry for the tedious questions, I am sure you get these all the time.
Kind Regards,
Ray

Ray
ListX can not manage the API calls to Paypal. As far as we know the trx. Must be processed on PayPal side.
Alternate merchants such as authorize.net have API’s that you could use a product like DNN store or Catalook to do the transaction piece.
Hope this helps.

Chris Chodnicki
