In the Employee Add form, the following method is used to add a record to the database:

nw_Employees_INSERT @EmployeeID=[CurrentEmployeeID, Session], @LastName='[FORMAT,[fld_LastName,F],{REPLACE:',''}]', @FirstName='[FORMAT,[fld_FirstName,F],{REPLACE:',''}]' and so on...

I am new to SQL and am having a hard time getting this method to work. I would like to use it though because I can see the value in eliminating the , if one were to use them in the input.

I am able to get it working with another method, I was just curious on the breakdown of this one. Thanks!

John

Maybe not, is that part of the Install Package. I don't recall seeing it in the Zip File.

It is on the home page before you log onto the Northwind site... Providing the site is up will determine if you will be able to download it.. It has been down for a few weeks now...
