Hi,

I have a system which has been successfully using wedjets for some time now.

If I log in as host - the popup appears and is fully functional, I can edit data and then save it back to my database etc.

If I log in as a different user - but one who still has access to these pages, for SOME wedjet popups I get an error :

The AJAX request contains a javascript error: Could not complete the operation due to error 80020101.

For other wedjet popups - they work just fine.

For some of the popups which fail (not all !!) the wedjet enabled listX module is displayed on the page - ie is no longer hidden until called.

Any ideas anyone ???.

The part I cannot understand is that the same module works just fine with my 'host' login :-O.

Thanks

Graham

Try loading it in Firefox with the Firebug plug in loaded. what error is logged by Firebug?

ListX....makes you look brilliant, even though you're not.

Paul,

Long time no talk ;-).

Already run under Firebug and no error is caught at the client end :-((.

The strange thing is that it works as designed for my host login :-O - and I can't see a page/module permissions issue.

Thanks

Graham

Further information shows it to be related to whether the user has EDIT permissions on the page (not the specific module.

Also - just tried again with Firebug and it does indeed capture an error - not sure how I missed thie before - but I'm not very familiar with Firebug :-O.
It didn't really help however - except to point out to me that the wedjet was not being applied for some popups :-O.

Problem is now however resolved !! :-).

The issue is that on the modules which only displayed ina wedjet for host, the Settings|Display Container was unchecked !!!. Looks like this setting is ignored for users with edit right but not for other users :-O.

problem gone away though - result posted to help anyone else who comes across a similar issue ;-O.
