How do I create a Custom t menu link with child menu items.

Meaning - I want to have a menu that goes to its own page and then have child menus that go to their own page. Therefor have a total of 4 pages. See example below. and also show its left images but when i add images in it it did not show the menu , when i remove the images it show the menu so can u tell me how can i set this menu and also its complete display setting to show the custom Nav menu with left images
