Hi there, I just got ListX/Toolbar yesterday and so far so good, the only issue i have is that the icons (in the Eventlog sample) do not appear, nor does the yellow background.
They are functional, however (ie they work when clicked)

I used the XML sample, it seemed to load fine. Is there a setting i may have missed which could cause this?
When i look at the properties of the "help" icon from the browser (Firefox) i get this:

http://localhost/Portals/9/http://localhost/dnn/images/help.gif

Obviously the URL is messed up...

Also the "9" is wierd... I only have the "0" folder (and _default) under the Portals folder.

The URL http://localhost/dnn/images/help.gif is correct, but why is it preceded by the
http://localhost/Portals/9/ path?

I checked the XML for the tooobar and found  src="/Portals/9/[ICON]" which looked suspect, but I dont follow how the path is constructed.

Even if you could point me to the relevant documentation would be good, as i could not find any technical info on this aspect of the module.

otherwise it seems great!

Thanks for your help!

Alan.

It seems OK now - please ignore previous post (i removed the reference to Portals which appeared, yet it was not in the online sample (?). Anyway, seems OK, thanks.

well, maybe someone will see this post... I just bought and installed ListX and the ToolBar and have been working on getting the samples going. To a point things work, but like this post states the Toolbar does not display like the samples display. It looks like a standard DNN module with the icons for the Delete and Listx and ToolBar help icons. However, this does not display like a toolbar near the top of the log viewer sample.

The links work but no color background, not properly positioned, etc...

I'm including the XML which is what is contained for the online example.

I have also, uninstalled and reinstalled the module without any luck.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello!

I'm experiencing the same behavior as the first post - the links are appearing, but the images are not. The path to the images truncates at the http://portalname/portals/0/ level. I have installed some of the examples from the Northwind solution... the images show as expected, but none of the javascript works. (Is there a change in the HTML generation from earlier versions of Toolbar?)

Anyhoo, I have set up a user on my Sandbox site (hoping for pauldes) for somebody to figure out why the images aren't working:

User: pauldes
PW:   pauldes

http://67.165.200.57/dnn322/Packages/EditPackages/tabid/73/Default.aspx

Select a package (edit) and you'll get to the Edit page. The Toolbar mod is the problem child. I have emulated existing examples exactly (how's that for ALLITERATION?).

I've been stymied for days on the nuts/bolts part of ListX since I've been struggling with the look/feel issues...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Eric
