Hi. I noticed in the 1.9.9.9 update that there is a new section in the ListX View Options->General section of the ListX admin, but couldn't find any reference to documentation or how to set up this area. Can anyone explain this section? I'm creating a links module and would definitely like to have the links appear in html format for bots but retain Ajax functionality for the module and this check box appears to be the way to do that. But, do you have to set up some noscript tags in the Format section or in the header of the module first? Or can you just check the box for "Assume Non-Ajax when Bot is detected" and that's all there is to it? Or would it just be easier to turn off Ajax and have everything rendered in html for everyone?

Thanks for any info,
Rick

Still wondering if anyone can explain this area and how one should go about setting it up, or is this something that a mysterious group of alien beings inserted into the code when no one was looking and no one knows how to use it or how to remove it from the code because the alien technology is so far advanced that it can't be removed or even understood well enough to be documented???

Try for yourself: change your browser user agent to Google bot and look at the source code. It basically just renders it in non-Ajax mode (vanilla HTML).

So, yes, it basically just works. Turn on that option, and it outputs your Listx instance in non-ajax mode. I am very proud to say I think I had a part in this functionality being added as I was pestering Kevin about it a while back. <img src='http://dnn.bi4ce.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>
