Hi All,

I have built a nice little generic editor to be used with ListX and I got almost everything working except SUBQUERY handling in a special case.

What I did was a litle different than what I saw in the forum so far. I am using a stored procedure to generate the html part for an entry form based on the table definiton itself and a few config parameters. This way I did not have to built the same thing over and over.

In order to achieve this I assigned the generated text to an action variable. However when I do this for a subquery it gets rendered immediately which is NOT what I need but it needs to be kept intact otherwise the results render incorrectly because they are preset and I can´t use the data to get i.e. the selected value straight.

I tried to escape the whole thing but I could not get it right though. In essence the {SUBQUERY ,,,, } structure needs to survive an assignment so I can use it to render my form.

Any ideas guys?

Thx,
Andy
